  2. Thanks, I love this bike.

Absolutely. You just need to make sure you have the proper headset for your bike and make sure its cut properly. I suggest going to your Local Bike Store and checking with them.

  5. Honestly, if you're looking entry level HT then Giant / Norco make some great stuff. I rode a Jubei 2 all summer last year. What are you looking to do with it? Just trail ride? Or are you thinking about a couple of races?

  7. I ride a 29er for XC. In Super D i'll probably use a 26er. They seem small because you're probably trying the wrong kind. All mountain 26"
bikes feel a bit better for bigger riders because the wheel base is stretched out a bit for more aggressive riding. 29ers are great for XC but a bit less aggressive then a 26" can be. Its really up to you. I'd just say go to your LBS, try a couple of bikes and see what feels good. I'd stay away from 26" XC based bikes. But if you're going the all mountain route I came seriously close to buying a Giant Trance X1 before I kitted out the Kona. For weight loss... I might actually suggest a CX bike, its a killer "do everything" bike. Road and Dirt. And they're built bombproof off the floor.
